WMRO-AM is a local radio station that is licensed to the community of Gallatin, Tennessee and is known as Magic 1560. WMRO-AM is owned by Classic Broadcasting, Inc., which consist of Scott & Leslie Bailey as the owners of WMRO-AM Radio & Classic Broadcasting.

WMRO-AM, known as "Magic 1560" airs the "Hot Adult Contemporary" Music Format from the ABC Radio Networks, Monday through Saturday. WMRO-AM also airs a weekly program called "Music Business Radio", produced at the studios of WRLT-FM (Lightning 100) in Nashville, that promotes local bands, artist and writers.

On Sundays, WMRO-AM drops its secular programming for local religious programming from local ministers and churches in the Gallatin area.

The station signed on February 16, 1994 and played a 50's, 60's & 70's format until August 1st, 2006, when the station changed to Adult Contemporary format, due a changing community and another local station in the Sumner County area playing the same format.

"WMRO" Radio has two missions:

1.To serve the local area by giving local alternative pop/rock bands and artist exposure.

2.On Sundays, WMRO-AM opens the doors of the station to the religious community of Gallatin and Sumner County to broadcast local religious programming to the sick and shut ins of the community.

WMRO-AM is licensed by the FCC as a Class "D" (daytime only) station with 1000 watts of power, and using a self-supporting tower of only 150 feet. WMRO-AM main coverage consist within the boundaries of Sumner County, Tennessee. WMRO's studios and transmitter are within a half mile of Gallatin's Public Square.
