Larry Gelwix

Larry Gelwix

Larry Gelwix (born 1950) is the coach of Highland High School's rugby team in Salt Lake City. The recent movie "Forever Strong" involves him.

Gelwix operates a travel agency and has formerly been an LDS seminary teacher.

Gelwix is a native of California. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the midwestern United States. He has bachelors and masters degrees from Brigham Young University. He also played rugby for three years at BYU.

Gelwix and his wife Cathy are the parents of five children.
