Le Hibou Coffee House

Le Hibou Coffee House was a legendary coffee house in Ottawa, Canada, which operated from 1960 to 1975. As of the late 1960s, it was located on Sussex Drive, in Ottawa's Byward Market. It was club that relied primarily on admission charges to survive financially, as it did not serve alcohol. Many Canadian and international folk, blues and jazz artists developed their reputations through appearances at Le Hibou.
