Christopher Rosica is author of "The Authentic Brand: How Today’s Top Entrepreneurs Connect with Customers", a blogger for Inc. Magazine and CEO of Rosica Strategic Public Relations based in Paramus, NJ.

Writing Career

In late 2007, Rosica completed his first book entitled "The Authentic Brand" (Noble Press, 2007). The book features business and marketing insights from renowned entrepreneurs including Gary Hirshberg of Stonyfield Farm, Bobbi Brown of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield of Ben and Jerry’s Homemade, Roxanne Quimby from Burt’s Bees’, Jeff Taylor of Monster.com and Wally “Famous” Amos. In August 2008, Rosica was interviewed by Phil Lipof on ABC-TV in New York about "The Authentic Brand". [http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/story?section=news&id=6316609] In the same month, he also appeared on News 12 New Jersey and was interviewed on WBGO Radio, both regarding the book.

He has been a regular contributor to New York Enterprise Report [http://www.nyreport.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=Author.showAuthor&AuthorID=85] and has written on various Internet marketing and public relations topics for Ad Age, Odwyer’s [http://www.odwyerpr.com/profiles/profiles_october_healthcare.pdf] Ragan Report and others.

Rosica is currently working on his second book, "The Cause-Marketing Handbook".

Blogging

In April 2008, Rosica started blogging for IncBizNet.com as a marketing and public relations expert. He writes about topics such as marketing in a down economy and using storytelling as a marketing tool.

Public Speaking

Rosica has lectured at Fordham, Seton Hall and PACE universities and numerous other colleges and universities in the NY-metro area. He has given keynote speeches and talks at tradeshows and conferences including The New York Gift Show, Health and Beauty America (HBA), Boys and Girls Clubs in NJ, United Way of America and Coffee Fest. Civic Involvement

As the president of the Young Entrepreneurs’ Organization (YEO) [http://news.fiu.edu/fiumag/fall_04/notes.htm] in New York, Rosica appeared on Bloomberg Television and the USA Network discussing how this nonprofit organization provided educational resources for entrepreneurs. Rosica currently serves on the boards of Boys & Girls in New Jersey [http://www.bgcnj.org/main.asp?id=34] , the Ironbound Salvation Army & Boys & Girls Club, and United Way of Essex & West Hudson [http://eastbay.bizjournals.com/gen/company.html?gcode=FF2934489D96429098EE4EDD618011AA] . Since January 2008, he has served on the Township of West Milford, New Jersey’s Planning Board.

Education

Rosica graduated from Ridgewood High School in Ridgewood, New Jersey in 1983, received his Associates in Occupational Science degree from Johnson & Wales University in 1985 and earned a Bachelor’s of Science in 1989 from Florida International University. He completed a three-year course in 2006 on entrepreneurship entitled “Birthing of Giants” at MIT, has a Pharmacy Technician Certification (1993) and his Planning Board Certification from NJPO (2008).
