The Lincolnshire Co-operative Society is the main co-operative organisation operating in the county of Lincolnshire in the UK.

History

Lincolnshire Co-operative Society was founded in 1861, inspired by Gainsborough joiner Thomas Parker.

Area covered

The society (formerly Lincoln Co-operative Society) was concentrated in the city of Lincoln and surrounding villages, but has recently expanded into county areas not traditionally served eg Grimsby and Cleethorpes).

Trading Activities

The society operates neighbourhood grocery stores, pharmacies, petrol stations, travel agents, coffee shops, florist, post offices and a funeral services department.
