Mohammed Mansoor Asghar Peerbhoy

Mohammed Mansoor Asghar Peerbhoy was a former employee of Yahoo Inc who was arrested along with three others by the anti-terror cell of Mumbai Police on October 6, 2008 for having alleged links with the terror group Indian Mujahideen. He was accused of being an active member of the media unit of the terror outfit which had sent threatening emails by hacking into unsecured wireless networks in the city after the Ahmedabad and New Delhi serial blasts. He was said to be earning 19-lakh per annum. He has two elder siblings, one of whom is a chest specialist in UK and the other an architect. Peerbhoy was born in a rich family and is said to be an outstanding student.
