Brendan O'BrienOlga San Juan (March 16, 1927 – January 3, 2009)[1] was an American actress, dancer and comedian, mainly active in films during the 1940s. She was born in Brooklyn, New York to Puerto Rican parents. When she was three years old, her family moved back to Puerto Rico, then moved back to the United States a few years later.[2] She was dubbed the "Puerto Rican Pepperpot" for singing and dancing roles alongside Bing Crosby, Fred Astaire and others.[3] In 1951, she starred on Broadway in the Lerner & Loewe musical, Paint Your Wagon.
She was married to actor Edmond O'Brien in 1948, divorcing him in 1976. They had three children: television producer Bridget O'Brien and actors Maria O'Brien and Brendan O'Brien.
San Juan died of kidney failure stemming from a long-term illness, at age 81, at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center, in Burbank, California.[3]
