Slingsby Tandem Tutor

The Slingsby T.31 Tandem Tutor is a British training glider designed and built by Slingsby for the Royal Air Force for use by the Air Training Corps as the Cadet TX3.

Design and development

The T.31B was a two-seat development of the earlier T.8 Kirby Tutor. It was operated by the Royal Air Force Gliding Schools, the last ones being withdrawn in 1986 [http://www.spitfireonline.co.uk/popup/exhibit11.html] .
