Cusack was educated at St Bernard's Catholic High School, in
Rotherham ,South Yorkshire and continued his education atThomas Rotherham College ,Rotherham ,South Yorkshire .Television and Radio
In 1998, while still at school, he appeared on the
ITV 1 Saturday morning children's magazine,Diggit , along with presentersFearne Cotton andReggie Yates , now ofBBC Radio 1 .Still in secondary education, Cusack learnt the trade of radio presenting at hospital radio station Chrystal Radio, based in the
Sheffield Children's Hospital . In 2003, it was this that landed him a show at local radio stationHallam FM .In 2005 he was noticed by
Galaxy FM and went on to present weekends, nationally on theGalaxy Network .At a similar time, Cusack was employed by the
Guardian Media Group at their regional radio station,Real Radio Yorkshire as a presenter and producer. He was also heard from time to time on Real Radio Digital.In 2006, Cusack was approached by
BBC Radio 1 , to work in London, as an assistant producer at the weekend.In early 2007, Cusack took over the Saturday breakfast show on
Kiss 105-108 , part of theKiss Network , until September 2007.Cusack finished his Kiss Saturday breakfast show in September 2007, moving back to
Galaxy FM , initiallyGalaxy Birmingham , but after a few weeks he was heard presenting onGalaxy North East .He can now be heard nationally on the
Galaxy Network , includingGalaxy Yorkshire ,Galaxy Birmingham ,Galaxy Manchester ,Galaxy North East ,Galaxy Digital , the soon to beGalaxy Scotland and still continues his regular Saturday breakfast show onGalaxy Birmingham .Cusack has attracted much media attention for his talent at a young age and has appeared in several newspapers (including The Star) and television shows, where in the past he has been likened to a young Chris Moyles.
