South By Southwest is a country band led by Michael Hearne. They are based in Taos, New Mexico, though two other members live in Santa Fe, New Mexico and San Antonio, Texas. Hearne plays acoustic guitar and sings. The other two members, Zeke Severenson and Carmen "Ace" Accaioli, play bass guitar and (among other instruments) mandolin, fiddle, steel guitar, dobro, and hammered dulcimer, respectively.South By Southwest is also the name of a music festival in Texas.
