CityDance Ensemble of Washington, DC has reconstructed two Sophie Maslow dances, "Dust Bowl Ballads" and "Folksay". "Folksay", restored in 2008, was awarded an American Masterpieces: Dance award by the New England Foundation for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Humanities. "Dust Bowl Ballads" was reconstructed in 2007 under an award by the National Endowment for the Arts.
