Ravne na Koroškem

Ravne na Koroškem (formerly also Gustanj; German: "Gutenstein") is the capital and the largest city of province Carinthia ("Koroška") / Meža Valley (German: "Mießtal") and Jezersko (German: "Seeland") in Slovenia. It is also the province's cultural and industrial centre. It received it's town privileges in 1952. The city has a 380 year long history of steel industry. The town belonged to Austria until 1919 (Treaty of St. Germain).
