Carlos Sánchez García, Sánchez (born January 18, 1978 in Madrid), is a Spanish footballer with the Spanish football club CD Castellón, in the goalkeeper position.

A graduate of "La Liga" giants Real Madrid's youth system, Sánchez was an undisputed first-choice in both its B and C sides. Benefitting from forced absences to Iker Casillas and César Sánchez, he appeared once for the first team, at RCD Mallorca, on 23 December, 2001, in a 1-1 tie.

Nothing more than a third-string player, Sánchez would be released by Real Madrid in 2004, spending 2004-06 in the second level, with Polideportivo Ejido and UD Almería, both in Andalusia, where he would also appear very rarely.

However, in 2006-07, he joined CD Castellón, and would be an undisputed starter in the second season, as the side finished fifth.
