Liban Abdi (born 5 October 1988 in Burco, Somalia) is an Somalian footballer, who is currently playing for Ferencvárosi Torna Club in the Hungarian Second Division.

Playing career

Liban is the first Somalian to be awarded a professional football contract in England after impressing with United's Academy. After spells with Newport Pagnell and Buckingham Town, he was picked up by United when he moved to Sheffield, thanks to assistance of the Football Unites, Racism Divides' Programme.

He is a big, awkward striker that causes problems for defender.
