In 2005's 7 DAYS IN MEMPHIS, Gallagher makes his debut as a recording artist. Featuring soul classics like Hayes and Porter's "When Something Is Wrong With My Baby" and Solomon Burke's "Don't Give Up On Me," and contemporary tunes like Lucinda Williams's "Still I Long For Your Kiss," this respectable set of blue-eyed soul comes across as much more than just a vanity project, thanks to the help of top-tier Memphis session musicians and Gallagher's surprisingly strong performances.
