John Commons (politician)

John Commons is a Liberal Democrat politician in the City of Manchester. He is a councillor in the Levenshulme ward. He stood in the 2005 General Election for the Sheffield Hillsborough constituency. He was born in the USA, and is one of the organisers of the Manchester Irish Festival. On 3rd of May 2007 he was re-elected as Councillor of Levenshulme ward and is a driving force in ward co-ordination.
