Faith Martin is best known for writing a series of books set around Oxforshire [CID, with the staring character being DI Hillary Greene [http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/m/faith-martin/] . Black star Crime

The Hillary Greene books where a fairly successful book when they where first released by Faith Martin, although they never really got much attention. However, in 2008, Blackstar Crime republished 'A Narrow Escape' and the book was a huge success. It was such as success in fact, that Blackstar Crime are preparing to publish 'On the Straight and Narrow' in December 2008.
