Tigriss (born Lucy Charlotte Hayden) (born 6th January 1987) is an English, Singer, Songwriter, Musician and Performer.

On Thursday 17th July 2008, Tigriss was launched to the world after 6 years of intensive development, studying and training. Tigriss is a new breed of British recording artist, songwriter, musician and performer. She invents, combines and corrupts many different music genres, arts, dance and street cultures including Free Running to create a unique and exciting sound and mind-blowing stage performance. Tigriss is a woman with passion, presence, motivation, originality, style and an inexhaustible reservoir of determination, commitment and energy and has that certain quality we call ‘Star’ appeal; a primal raw power, who will rank amongst the most distinctive and successful performers ever. Most importantly, she has a very powerful and soulful vocal, a gift for song writing and a staggering dance vocabulary.

Tigriss first launched on her website www.tigriss.com with 2 videos/demo tracks; both covers. The decision was made to initially showcase Tigriss’ vocal and performance qualities and to show her diversity and range across various music genres. The videos also show how multi-faceted Tigriss is as an artist; singer, dancer, pianist, choreographer & Free Runner.

Early Life

Tigriss was accepted into a London agency at the age of 9 and a couple of weeks later auditioned and got the part as ‘Cosette’ in Les Misérables; marking her London West End debut at the Palace Theatre, London. In Les Misérables she sang the solo “Castle on a Cloud” and knew then that she wanted to spend her life singing and performing to an audience. Tigriss also took part in other West End musicals, including playing Young Edna in Dame Edna Everage, The Spectacle. Because of her tremendous emerging talent she was chosen to sing various solos in this show. Other shows which she performed in include Oliver, Annie and Saint George.

As well as theatre, Tigriss modeled for Burberry, Honda and C&A, appeared in television, TV commercials including Airwick, Kellogg and Somerfield and had a part in one of IMAX’s first 3D films The Nutcracker. These were all stepping stones of experience to what Tigriss ultimately wanted to achieve; her dream of becoming a solo recording artist and musician. Tigriss has also sung in the London Community Gospel Choir which proved invaluable to her later vocal development.

The Comic

Emergence - The Comic was also launched on Tigriss website on the 17th July 2008. This beautifully drawn and graphic comic shows Tigriss as a vengeful vigilante by night and Tigriss the Superstar by day. Schooled in Martial Arts at the Shaolin Temple in China as a child as well as then training in the arts of singing and dancing at the Peking Opera House, she becomes a world-wide sensation as a recording artist but when a chance encounter brings back haunting memories of a horrific incident that happened in China as a child, a thirst for revenge fills her heart and Tigriss the vigilante is born. This alone has been a long and productive collaboration of fantastic writers and artists including Aadi Salman and Shane McCarthy (DC Comics fame).
