Absolutist is a casual games developer and publisher company.

Absolutist company is based in Ukraine, Dnepropetrovsk. Absolutist develops and publishes titles for different platforms: Windows, PalmOS, PocketPC, Macintosh, Linux, Windows for Smartphone, Symbian (series 60), N-Gage, Symbian UIQ, and J2ME. The company also creates Flash, Java, Shockwave and Java Script games. The company always takes part in different conferences and seminars and participates in many game developing researches.

Company History

* In 2000 several enthusiastic people decided to start up a small company that would develop and publish computer games. Then no one knew that in just several years the whole team of professionals in programming, design, graphics and marketing would work for Absolutist.com . The company team consists of more than 60 people now. There are programmers, artists and designers, marketing staff, musicians and testers among them.
* 2002 – the first release of the most popular game Bubble Shooter. This game is upgraded regularly and new features and modes are added constantly. The last version of this game is called Bubble Shooter: Premium Edition and includes multiplayer mode.
* 2004 – all the games were localized into Russian. Absolutist.ru entertainment portal was launched.
* 2006 – the first conference of casual game developers in Kiev. Absolutist was one of the companies that organized this conference.
* 2007 – launch of independent studio of multiplayer web-based games named “Wellgames”

Developed titles for PC and PDA

Absolutist has its own gaming portal where a player can play the games for free or download them to any device. One of the first developed games that brought success to Absolutist company was the original Bubble Shooter game. And more than 5 modifications of this game exist at the site now. The last version of the game is called Bubble Shooter: Premium Edition and is famous for its innovative multiplayer game play mode. The most successful titles of the developer are:

Wellgames

This new studio concentrated on developing online multiplayer games. Launched in 2007 the studio already produced 35 unique multiplayer free games. The main goal of the studio is developing web-based online titles that can be played in the real-time mode so that players can compete against each other all over the world.
