Monty Cerf

Cerf, Monty (William Montgomery Cerf) Managing Director, Barclays Capital. Monty Cerf has 25 years of experience in investments and investment banking and investment management atJPMorgan, Bear Stearns and most recently Lehman Brothers recently purchased by Barclays Capital. He has worked in many capital markets globally, and especially in alternative assets where he headed the top ranked private equity placement groups at both JPMorgan andBear Stearns. He has experience in merchant banking at JPMorgan and his ownfirm. Monty has a BA with High Honors from Cornell University, an MS from theLondon School of Economics and an MBA from the Yale School ofManagement. He sits on the Investment Counsel for the $80 billion State of NewJersey public pension fund, the Montclair State University Business School Advisory Board, and the Board of Directors for Darrow Camp. He once served as Peace Corps volunteer in Africa. He is married with three children and lives in Montclair New Jersey.
