Floristweb cc (floristweb.co.za), is an online floral wire service and retailer based in Cape Town, South Africa. Floristweb was founded to allow customers to

send flowers remotely on the same day by using florists in the Floristweb network who are near the intended recipient. Orders for flowers are transmitted via the internet,

telefax and alternatively telephonically to florists directly. Floristweb differs slightly from other flower wire services in the fact that they allow individual member

florists access to manage their own products and prices via a CMS system.

History

In 2006, Floristweb was established to provide small, localised florists access to an online presence without the cost of developing their own website. Initially the Service

only accepted registrations from Cape Town Florists, but in december 2006 registration was opened up to include Johannesburg florists and Durban Florists too. The service is

currently open for registration from any South African Florist.
