Cadwallader Davis Blayney, 12th Baron Blayney

He was the 12th and last Lord. Son of Andrew Thomas Blaney, he was born in 1802 and died in London without issue on January 13, 1874. He became a Lt. in the 89th Regiment of Foot in January 27, 1825 and left the same year.

He died at age 71 at St. James Hotel, Piccadilly, London, after living in the Carlton Club there.

In 1852, he sold the family estate, Castleblayney, Ireland, to Henry Thomas Hope of Deepdene, Surrey. The last Hope descendent, Lord Henry Francis Hope, ceased to live at the estate in 1916. He owned the Hope Diamond which he inherited from his uncle in 1839.
