In 1999, Brambles brought together a worldwide network of document management companies under the Recall name. Originally founded in 1875, Brambles is a multibillion-dollar global support services company–

In 2005, Recall decided to acquire its biggest competitor, the second largest documents and records management company Ausdoc in Australia. Recall leads Australia’s largest records and document management business.

Key Developments

Recall Corporation launched the industry's first full-cycle storage and management service and facility to utilize RFID technology for identification, inventory, and tracking of customers' document and electronic data archives.

Recall deployed RFID tagging at its Document Management Solutions Mega-Center in Northborough, Mass. Recall ensures its customers with a new layer of security and management efficiency thorough RFID technology. Also, RFID tagging supports strict compliance with data management regulations such as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA) and more.
