Odafe Onyeka Okolie (born 1985 in Nigeria), is a Nigerian football player who is currently playing for Mohun Bagan A.C. in the Indian I-League. Successes include being name top goal scorer in the I-League and being the highest paid footballer in India on a report $200,000 USD. He is the most prolific scorer in the I-League.

Club career

Churchill Brothers

After a lackluster start to his career which saw him play for Indian club Mohammedan S.C. and Bangladesh club Muktijoddha SKC where he only made 0 and 28 appearances respectively and only score 14 goals with SKC Odafe went back to India and signed for Churchill Brothers S.C. in the I-League in 2005. It took him till the 2006-2007 season to brake out though as he scored 12 goals that season with Churchill. Then during the 2007-08 season Odafe scored 22 goals in 16 games and was top scorer in the then brand new I-League. Odafe is the leading scorer in the I-League in all three seasons. He was also the former captain of Churchill Brothers.

Mohun Bagan AC

On 1 June 2011 he signed a 1 year deal for Mohun Bagan A.C. also in the I-League. Previously derby rivals East Bengal FC had attempted to sign him repeatedly but failed each time. On October 23 2011 Odafe scored a hat-trick in his debut for Bagan in a 3-1 victory over Pailan Arrows..^[1] He scored a goal against arch rival East Bengal In last match to win for Mohun Bagan 1-0.He scored 5 goals in 3 matches in this I-league.
