Mark Dwayne in 1998, Street Cred Magazine is an urban multi-cultural entertainment and lifestyle magazine with a demographic targeting 16-30 year olds. It started off as a 1 page supplement in the Community Enterprise newspaper and has now grown into a 100 page glossy internationally known magazine. Running for 10 years, it has over 400,000 monthly readers in theUK and is available to a world audience for free online at www.streetcredmagazine.comStreet Cred Magazine has now spawned other types of media and entertainment events due to its success. The first of which is a radio program called "
Street Cred Live ", it began in December 2007 and airs seven days a week onASTON FM 89.1 . It is based on theAston Villa football grounds in theWest Midlands . The station reaches 140,000 listeners a day. "Our show is the most cutting edge nite time radio show in theMidlands ."In February 2008, "
Funkalicious " a new monthly club event was made. It is held on the last friday of every month atclub Barracuda located in Birmingham'sChina Town .Lastly, also in 2008 the magazine founded its own record label "
