Ethanur is 2 km East of Koduvayur in Palakkad District.The famous festival of Ethanur is Kummati which occurs in the 3rd thursday of meena maasam, generally during March. This is a festival conducted jointly by "Maruthi Kavu temple" and "Thiruvilyanadu Bagavathi temple".
