1959: born in
Debrecen ,Hungary . 1982-1988: takes university courses inDebrecen ,Budapest , andMünchen . 1988: graduates fromEötvös Loránd University (ELTE) with degrees inHungarian language /literature andAesthetics . 1991: earns hisdoctoral degree at ELTE, with adissertation entitled "Hermann Hesse világképe" ("TheWorld View ofHermann Hesse "). 1988-1994: teachesliterature andaesthetics in secondary schools for the arts inBudapest . 1990-1992: instructor ofmusic aesthetics at the Department of Cultural History, ELTE.WORKS
