Nazar Abbas Kazmi is a renowned qualified architect graduated from the National College of Arts Lahore. He is practising architecture in Pakistan for more than twenty five years. He is currently settled in the heart of Southern Punjab, Multan.

Life

Born and bred in Multan, Nazar Abbas Kazmi moved to Bahawalpur after completing his early education. He completed his degree of B.Sc. from Sadiq Edgerton College, Bahawalpur. He carried on his education career and graduated in Architecture from the National College of Arts, Lahore in 1983.His thesis based on Mental Health Institute Pakistan. After this Environmental Design drew his attention, firstly he did Post Graduate Diploma in Evironmental Design under the affiliation of Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad, HEC Pakistan and British Council in collaboration with Dundee University, UK and National College of Arts, Lahore. Currently he is doing a thesis on “User Comfort and Energy Efficiency in Public Buildings of Hot Composite Climate” for his M.Sc. in Environmental Design.

His interest in Arts & Architecture Education is also mentionable. In 2004 as Coordinator from National College of Arts, Lahore he contributed a lot to Establish Multan College of Arts under Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan. Presently he is Visiting Faculty Member of Multan College of Arts as Associate Professor.

He also takes intrests in Extra Activities for the profession of Architecture. He remained Executive Member of Institute of Architects, Pakistan, Also as Coordinator Architect's Forum, Multan and Convenor Architect's Study Circle, Multan organised number of Seminars, Exhibitions, workshops and study tours in Multan.

He intensively travels in Pakistan and abroad to study Arts & Architecture and participate in confrences, Exhibitions and study forums of Architecture and Fine Arts.

Nazar Abbas Kazmi is the Principal Architect of firm "Abbas Associates" based in Multan. With more than 20 years experience, the firm is providing state of the Art Professional services in the fields of Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Interior Design, Environmental Design, etc. Although based in Multan, the firm is practicing throughout Pakistan from Karachi to Peshawar.
