The Abbott Family are a fictional family on the CBS soap opera "The Young and the Restless". The family was made up John Abbott and his children.

The Abbott Children

* John "Jack" Abbott Jr. (born October 10th 1953) -is the oldest son of John Abbott (played by Jerry Douglas) and Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams), Jack was once Genoa City's resident playboy, but has matured greatly over the years. At various points in his career he has been CEO of NVP Retreats, Chancellor Industries, Newman Enterprises, and Jabot Cosmetics; from fall 2006 to spring 2007 he also owned Jabot (secretly done through a shell company, House Of Kim) and recently Restless Style Magazine.

* Ashley Abbott (born 1962) -is the love child of Dina Mergeron and Brent Davis. Although only a handful of people knew the truth, Ashley vowed to keep her paternity a secret for fear of breaking John's heart. Ashley currently live in LA and Paris working for FOrrester Creatons.

* Traci Abbott Connolly(born 1966) -is the youngest daughter of cosmetics tycoon, John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) and his first wife, equally successful cosmetics entrepreneur, Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams). She is the sister of Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and half sister of Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Billy Abbott (Scott Seymour). She is also the most sensitive and emotional of the siblings. She's currrently a writer in New York City.

* Billy Abbott (born (onscreen 1993)-1985 SORASed to 1978) -is the son of Jill Foster Abbott (Jess Walton) and the late John Abbott (Jerry Douglas). He was engaged in internet gambling and handled money irresponsibly, causing him to be relocated to Hong Kong.
