Sam Stone (born Samantha Lee Harrison) is an English author of gothic, horror and fantasy fiction. Early life and education
The youngest of seven children, Stone was born in [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manchester Manchester] , England, which forms the partial backdrop of her novel "Killing Kiss" and is the common location of the Vampire Gene Trilogy. She graduated with a BA (Hons) in "English and Writing for Performance" at University of Bolton, a "PGCE" at [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manchester_University Manchester University] and her "MA in Creative Writing" also at Bolton. "Gabriele Caccini" was originally written as her dissertation. Stone hit the [http://www.accringtonobserver.co.uk/news/s/523585_teacher_in_vampire_web_storm headlines] in February 2002 after she published Gabriele Caccini under the name 'Paigan Stone'.
