Avia Asset Management is the only company in the Baltic States engaged in long-term aircraft lease business. The head office of the company is situated in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Avia Asset Management AB is one of six companies controlled by flyLAL Group Services AB. flyLAL Group Services AB and flyLAL – Lithuanian Airlines AB belong to the same Group of Lithuanian capital aviation business companies.

Business activities

Avia Asset Management purchases modern western types of the aircraft and leases all of its aircraft to clients in the Baltics and CIS. Company specialises in medium-haul and narrow-bodied Boeing 737 and Boeing 757 aircraft.

Avia Asset Management is also offering aircraft fleet management, re-marketing, aircraft technical maintenance and repair, aviation specialists’ initial and continued professional training services.

Aircraft fleet

Avia Asset Management AB owns and leases 9 aircraft: 4 Boeing 737-300, 4 Boeing 737-500 and 1 Boeing 757-200. By the year 2010, according to the official website, the aircraft fleet is planned to be increased up to 20 aircraft.

Background

In February 2007, Avia Asset Management AB was founded by Lithuanian capital aviation group flyLAL Group AB. In early 2008, flyLAL Group AB making preparations for international public offering (IPO) was reorganised into two separate companies – flyLAL Group AB and flyLAL Group Services AB. flyLAL Group AB took over management of air companies, while flyLAL Group Services AB – management of companies providing services for air companies, including Avia Asset Management AB. At present, flyLAL Group Services AB owns 90% of the shares of Avia Asset Management.
