Brien Thomas "B. T." Collins (b.
1941 inNew York City, NY ; died1993 inSacramento, CA ) was an American politician fromCalifornia and a member of the Republican party. AGreen Beret Captain during the Vietnam War, he lost his right arm and right leg to a grenade attack in 1967. He attended law school and in 1979 was appointed by then Gov.Jerry Brown as Director of the California Conservation Corp.
