After half of a season at UBC, he decided to go back to Guelph where he would see more inning's as a starter. The arm that was once rubber, seemed to have turned to jello. In his most recent outing for his summer team, the Oakville A's, Hawley gave up ten plus runs in only two innings of work. Asked after the game what happened, Hawley responded "too much beer." A later interview, however, revealed he hadn't been drinking at all.References
