Village is famous for its quality educational institutes. Shri Dhokeshwer Vidyala is the most prominent institute in district. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is only one of its kind in district. Shri Dhokeshwer Temple is famous in not only district but in maharashtra also for its beauty. Its a ancient (about 1000 A.C.) temple cave of Lord Dhokeshwara.
