Dublin, IrelandOccupation Actress Years active 1958-1997 Carmel McSharry (born ca. 1930)[citation needed]is an Irish character actress, best-known for her roles portrayals of Beryl Humphries in Beryl's Lot, and as Mrs. Hollingbery in In Sickness and in Health.
Other television work includes roles in The Liver Birds, Casualty and Z Cars. She also appeared in the BBC play Home from Home in 1973, which starred Yootha Joyce and Michael Robbins. She retired in 1997.
