The Luzerne & Susquehanna Railroad operates 93 miles (150 km)of track in the Wilkes-Barre and Scranton areas of Pennsylvania. It connects with former Conrail at the Pittston Junction, and with Canadian Pacific Rail in Taylor, Pennsylvania.
The Pocono Northeast Railway started service in 1982, and abandoned operations in 1983. The Delaware-Lackawanna took over until 1994, when Steven May became the owner.
