- Jemanon
"Jemanon" (transliteration) is a very small region in south eastern Argentina. It is famous for its vegetable stew. This stew is traditionally made with carrots, corn, potatoes, and squash, but recent times have seen its preparation with a much wider variety of vegetables. It is known for its thick, distinctive sauce whose strong taste comes from the addition of traditional spices.
