"Lo-Fi" is the twenieth episode of the third season of the television series, "Criminal Minds". Originally aired on May 21, 2008, the episode is written by Simon Mirren and directed by Edward Allen Bernero. The plot features a number of seemingly random shootings and serves as the third season cliff-hanger.

ummary

The team is called to New York City, by Kate Joyner, to determine if a series of random shootings is the work of one serial killer or a team of killers working together. Their efforts are complicated by the fact that none of the victims appear to have anything in common, which renders their usual process of victimology useless. JJ tells the team that she is pregnant and that Will has asked to marry her, even offering to give up his job so that she can continue her work. The episode ends in a cliffhanger as we see the various team members enter black SUVs. An SUV explodes and car alarms blare and the credits roll.
