Directive 89/391/EEC

Directive 89/391/EEC

Council Directive 89/391/EEC of 12 June 1989 on the introduction of measures to encourage improvements in the safety and health of workers at work (also known as the Framework Directive), is a European Union directive that sets out general principles for protection of workers' Occupational safety and health. It also provides the enabling framework for a number of other individual directives concerned with specific aspects of health and safety.
