The strip revolves around a conversation between a Tiger and a Dragon dealing with topics drawn from Eastern philosophy (and often distorsioned).

History

Characters and plot

The characters are a Tiger and a Dragon taken from original chinese sources and entirely redrawn. While both are interested in the same kind of topics, the Dragon seems to be more cynical, in contrast with the Tiger which seems to be more at ease. The conversations reflect what Edward Said has criticized as orientalism, the exotization of the East by the West through the use of imagined constructs. Taoism and Buddhism have been featured in certain strips, but also Economics, Science and Western Philosophy, everything in the light of the ironies of modern life.
