Puerto El Triunfo

This city is located in the south fo the departament, with a increasing population that have been involved in many facts that have change the life of the mayority of the residents, as per inmigration to USA in the decade of '80 due to Civil War , the breakdown of Fishing Companies as PEZCA,SA, Mariscos de El Salvador, Atarraya SA, the increasing of gangs since 90's (but fortunately this problem ha been broken by the current governator)Is the most visited place in Usulutan departament due it's Jiquilisco Bay and the modern ways to get there.

Measured againt other cities of El Salvador, Puerto El Triunfo was not affected by the subversive groups due to it's location at the coast, and the collaboration of the Local Fishing companies to this groups. Civil War created a tension in the residents and the companies as a result these companies Broke down and closed off, due this fast most of people emigrated to United States of America...
