HMP Canterbury is a prison holding foreign nationals serving less than four years of a sentence, with an expectation of removal. The prison is located in Canterbury in Kent, England. Canterbury Prison is operated by Her Majesty's Prison Service.

Canterbury Prison dates from 1808 when a county gaol was built just outside the city limits. The front of the prison still bears the carved inscription "House of Correction". During the First World War the prison was used as a Home Office archive, later becoming a prison and a Naval Detention Centre.

Facilities at the prison include a gym, astro-turf pitch, kitchens, education and workshops. A visitors centre for social visits is open every wednesday, friday, saturday and sunday afternoons.
