Miri na Baykale

Miri na Baykale ( _ru. Международная научно-исследовательская экспедиция «„Миры“ на Байкале») In July 2008 both Mir-1 and Mir-2 initiated a two-year expedition to lake Baykal, the world's largest fresh water reservoir. The expedition is being lead by the Russian Academy of Sciences [9] . During the expedition around 160 descents are planned to the bottom of the lake, which previously remained largely unexplored.
