CFA Football Championship 2007
Held on November 2, 2007 in Tuscaloosa Alabama, Between the number one team from the North Conference and number one team from the South Conference. The number one team from the North conference was the Tabernacle Christian Torches out of Gardendale Alabama. Tabernacle entered the game with an impressive 11-1 record having been handed its only loss by out of conference team Evangel Christian. The number one team from the South was the Tuscaloosa Christian Warriors out of Tuscaloosa Alabama. Tuscaloosa also entered the championship game with an impressive record of 11-1 having been handed its only loss ironically by Tabernacle Christian.

Stats
Tabernacle entered the CFA Championship with some outstanding stats. Tabernacle scored an average of 50 points per game while holding opponents to an average of 10 points a game. Tabernacle had a total of 4 shutouts in the 2007 season and had an average of almost 300 yards per game Tabernacle had a total of 2,832 yards on the ground and 1,098 through the air in the 2007 season. Tabernacles defence was a solid force holding oppenents to an average of only 80 yards per game. Tabernacle boasted a huge senior filled team with seven seniors, Quaterback Daniel Whaley, Guard Mark Hunter, Middle Linebacker Luke Kaetz, Nose Tyler Marshall, Defensive End Billy Lopez, Tight End David Sims, and William Lankford. Tabernacles coaching staff consisted of execellent coaches, Head Coach Keith Dabbs, Defensive Cordinater Tim Thompson, Special Teams Coach Hank Lankford, Team physician Mike Whaley, and Stat Keeper Jeremy Richter.
The Game
The Game Kicked off at 7:00 pm on November 2, 2007. Tuscaloosa scored the first points of the game with a 35 yard running play in the second quarter. They missed the try for 2 which is common in 8-man football. Tabernacle quickly responded and scored and made the try for 2 making the score 8-6 Tabernacle. Tabernacle scored later in the second quarter making the score 16-6 Tabernacle. Tuscaloosa responded and cut the lead back to 16-12. At what seemed to be a deadlock heading into half time tabernacle threw a last effort pass in the remaining seconds of the first half. Daniel Whaley connected with junior Bradley White who out ran two Tuscaloosa defenders to extend the lead to 24-12 at half.
The second half was a completely one sided affair as Tabernacle exploded for 34 unanswered points, ending the 2007 CFA Championship game with Tabernacle ontop 58-12. The Game went down into history books as the largest defeceit in CFA Championship game with a defeceit of 46 points. Tabernacle also recorded its first ever football championship. A few outstanding players were rewarded medals, Senior Daniel Whaley was awarded Most Valuable Offensive Player of the 2007, Senior Luke Kaetz was awarded Most Valuable Linebacker, and Senior William Lankford was awarded Most Valuable Linebacker and Most Valuable Kicker.
