Fereidoun Ghasemzadeh (Persian: فریدون قاسم زاده) (Born 1959) set up Afranet, the first Internet Service Provider in the Iranian Private Sector.

A graduate of Sharif University of Technology and DeGroote School of Business, he founded his company in 1998 and is also a Sharif GSME (Graduate School of Management and Economics) faculty member.

Dr. Ghasemzadeh was also selected as 2002 Instructor of the Year at Sharif University of Technology, School of Management and Economics (1380 Iranian Calendar).
