Chappal

Chappal

Chappals are an Indian sandal. They can be made of leather or of other materials. Some chappals have straps that go between the first two toes (like a flip-flop), however, others may have a loop strap over the big toe. They have many types, e.g. Peshawari chappal, which are a bit more like English sandals but are triangular from above and mostly worn with the salwar kameez dress. They are very common in northern regions of Pakistan and all over India.
