Department of Management Studies (DoMS) at Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee)[1] part of the IIT Schools of Management, was established in 1998 to impart formal education in management science through a 2 year regular MBA programme, apart from Ph.D. in various disciplines.

Overview

DoMS IIT Roorkee is housed in a double storeyed building with lecture rooms, a computer laboratory, a double storeyed library , syndicate and committee halls, auditorium with teaching aids and a large central atrium. , and is also Wi-Fi enabled.

MBA at IIT Roorkee is it offers a dual specialization in any two of the following categories:

  1. Marketing
  2. Finance
  3. Information Technology
  4. Operations

Admission procedure

The entrance is through Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET) held collectively by IITs and IISc each year [2]. After the exam, aspirants are required to fill the Application downloadable from institute website. They are called for GD/PIs based on JMET scores, academic consistency, qualification and work experience.

  • Spornado (Inter IIT Sports meet of Management Students)
