Synergy Health plc (formerly Synergy Healthcare, lse|SYR) is a United Kingdom-based company which provides hygiene, sanitation and consultancy products and services to the healthcare and laboratory research industries. The company is headquartered in Swindon, Wiltshire. Its services include the sterilisation of reusable medical instruments and linen cleaning outsourcing. Synergy also distributes medical hygiene products such as antibacterial cleansers and wet wipes, swabs and bandages. The company is listed on the London Stock Exchange a member of the FTSE 250 Index as of September 2008.

History

The Company was founded in 1991. It was first listed on the Alternative Investment Market in 2001. It went on to buy Shiloh, a leading supplier of sterilisation services to the National Health Service, in 2005.
