Great Council of Geneva

The Great Council of Geneva ( _fr. Grand Conseil de Genève) is the legislature of the canton of Geneva, in Switzerland. Geneva, styled as a 'Republic and Canton', has a unicameral legislature. The Great Council has 100 seats, with members elected every four years. On the last occasion, on 3 November 2005, the Liberal Party won a plurality, with 23 of the 100 seats.
