Michael Charles Schmidt (born in Ohio in 1979) is an American musician.
Early life and career
Schmidt began writing songs in his early twenties and has since self-released hundreds of original songs. He has worked under the monikers, Sand Dollar Doves (US) and Go!Stay!Go! A number of his albums, EPs and singles are available for download from such on-line music resources as iTunes and Amie Street. In 2007, his song, "Faded Love", appeared on an addition of Ride the Train and was released on NBT records.
In addition to being an independent musician, Schmidt is a visual artist and published children's poet. His poetry has been featured in "Boy's Quest" magazine, "Good News" magazine, and in the hardcover collection, "Say Goodnight to Illiteracy". His artwork has been used on independent record covers and as advertising for Ohio-based small business.
